Our Association’s Board of Directors Chairman, Gama Energy Board Member and General Manager Mr. Tamer Çalışır appeared as a guest on the “Piyasa Hattı” program aired on BloombergHT, offering critical insights into the global energy agenda.

Hosted by Zeynep Özyol, the program addressed the implications of geopolitical tensions—particularly developments along the U.S.-Iran axis—on energy markets and supply security.

Our Chairman highlighted the pressure exerted by the war, which has now lasted a year in the region, on energy corridors, emphasizing the potential impacts of this process on Turkey’s macroeconomic outlook and sector investments.

Stating that the biggest issue in the sector is no longer financing—but rather permit processes, logistics costs, and risk premiums—our Chairman underscored that the investment infrastructure is lagging behind the pace of growth and must be accelerated.
