“Western European Electricity Prices, Fundamental Market Outlook, and Decarbonization Targets: The Cases of France and Germany Webinar,” organized in collaboration with our Association and Energy Aspects, was successfully held with the strong participation of our members, public institutions and sector representatives.

During the presentations delivered by Ms. Sabrina Kernbichler, Head of European Power at Energy Aspects, and Mr. William Peck, Senior European Power Analyst, key topics such as growth trends in renewable energy capacity in Western Europe, the drivers of regional electricity demand, and the relationship between capacity growth and demand were discussed. Furthermore, market dynamics and security of supply were comprehensively evaluated through the experiences of heatwaves and natural gas supply risks. Wxamples were also examined through the market structures of France and Germany.
