EÜD Environment and Climate Working Group – Directorate of Climate Change Meeting

Together with the members of our Environmental Working Group, we paid a visit to Mr. Eyüp Kaan Moralı, Head of the Carbon Pricing Department at the Climate Change Directorate.

During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation on the Emission Trading System (ETS) was delivered. This was followed by a constructive exchange of views on the objectives and legal framework of the ETS, its scope, the benchmark approach, market functioning, and offsetting mechanisms.
