Visit to Mr. Ahmet Özkaya, Director General of Energy Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Mr. Orhan Kaldırım, Director General of TEİAŞ, and Mr. Zafer Benli, Director General of EÜAŞ

Under the leadership of our Chairman, Mr. Tamer Çalışır, Member of the Board and General Manager of Gama Energy, and with the participation of our Vice Chairman, Mr. Serhat Dinç, Member of the Board of Limak Energy, along with many of our Board Members, we held important meetings with public institutions on behalf of our sector.

We visited Mr. Ahmet Özkaya, Director General of Energy Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources; Mr. Orhan Kaldırım, Director General of TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation); and Mr. Zafer Benli, Director General of EÜAŞ (Electricity Generation Company), as well as Deputy Director General Mr. Mithat Yüksel.

During the visits, we discussed key topics affecting our sector, including the rise in renewable energy investments and their integration into the system, the strategic role of baseload power plants in ensuring security of supply, the state of electricity markets, the Draft Law on the “Super Permit,” and the Havza Substation (Havza TM) projects.
